NON-VACCINATED VISITORS


If you are a citizen or have a residence permit of one of the 38 states, you may enter Georgia by air, land, or sea under the conditions mentioned below: - European Union Member States - State of Israel - Republic of Turkey - Swiss Confederation - Kingdom of Norway - United States of America - Canada - The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - State of Qatar - State of Kuwait - United Arab Emirates - Kingdom of Bahrein - Republic of Armenia - Republic of Azerbaijan - Ukraine - Republic of Moldova - Republic of Kazakhstan - Russian Federation - Republic of Belarus - Republic of Uzbekistan - Republic of Tajikistan - Republic of Kyrgyzstan - Turkmenistan - People’s Republic of China - Japan - Republic of Korea - The Sultanate of Oman - Republic of San Marino - Principality of Monaco - Republic of Serbia - Republic of Iceland - Principality of Liechtenstein - Montenegro - Principality of Andorra - Republic of Albania - Republic of Northern Macedonia - Bosnia and Herzegovina NOTE: ► You must travel directly from any of the 38 countries including, transit travel through third countries; ► At the border, you must present a negative result of the PCR test conducted in the last 72 hours before your visit; ► On the 3rd day of your stay, you are obliged to undergo PCR-examination at your own expense; ► Before crossing the state border, you must fill in the application form, indicating the travel history of the last 14 days, contact details (address, phone number, email, etc.); ►If you traveled to India within the last 14 days will be placed in a mandatory quarantine for 14 days upon entry at your own expense. In this case, PCR-examination on the 3rd day of your stay is not obligatory. PCR examination certificate must be in Georgian, English or Russian. Any person under the age of 10 (regardless of nationality) is exempted from the obligation to submit a negative PCR test in the last 72 hours prior to the visit to Georgia. VACCINATED VISITORS


National of any country, with full course (two doses) of any COVID-19 vaccination (one dose in case of Johnson & Johnson) may enter Georgia under following conditions: BY AIR ► Must present the document confirming the full course of any COVID-19 vaccination. X Does not require PCR test X Does not require pre-registration BY LAND AND/OR SEA ► Must present the document confirming the full course of any COVID-19 vaccination ► Must present the negative PCR test taken in the last 72 hours prior to the visit to Georgia X Does not require pre-registration Attention! Different rules apply to any person traveling from the Republic of India (regardless of citizenship and full course of vaccination) as well as persons with a history of travel to India during the last 14 days. They must present a negative PCR test conducted in the last 72 hours prior to the visit to Georgia at the border and then undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine, at their own expense. PCR examination certificate must be in Georgian, English or Russian. Any person under the age of 10 (regardless of nationality) is exempted from the obligation to submit a negative PCR test in the last 72 hours prior to the visit to Georgia. DO I NEED TO GO INTO QUARANTINE WHEN ARRIVING?


All arrivals from India are required to self-quarantine for 14 days. Returning citizens may choose between presenting test results and 8 days self-quarantine.




IS COVID-19 TEST REQUIRED TO TRAVEL?


Non-vaccinated travellers arriving to Georgia are required to present a negative PCR test, no older than 72 hours. Vaccinated travelers do not. Exception: Travellers from India (regardless of citizenship and complete course of vaccination) must present a negative PCR test, no older than 72 hours.




IS PUBLIC TRANSPORT OPERATING?


Yes, public transport in Georgia is operating, under social distancing restrictions.




ARE RESTAURANTS OPEN?


Yes, restaurants in Georgia are open, with social distancing and health regulations in place.




IS CURFEW STILL IN EFFECT?


The curfew has been lifted since July 1.




DO I NEED TO WEAR A FACE MASK?


Wearing face masks is required.
